It’s time for another triple-threat throwback event! Hootie and The Blowfish will play at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre on Friday, July 26th, with Edwin McCain and Collective Soul as special guests! Starting in Dallas on May 30th, the trio’s 43-date Summer Camp with Trucks Tour will continue until September 28th in West Palm Beach.

Hootie and The Blowfish is an adult alternative pop-rock band formed in South Carolina, known for creating straightforward and uplifting tracks like "Hold My Hand,” "Let Her Cry," and "Only Wanna Be with You." The band’s lineup includes Darius Rucker as the lead vocalist, Mark Bryan on guitar, Dean Felber on bass, and Jim Sonefeld on drums - all here to reunite for the summer trek.

Their debut record, Cracked Rear View, was an instant hit as it earned them a Billboard Band of the Year Award as well as the RIAA’s Diamond Award for selling more than ten million units. To this date, it remains the ninth best-selling album in music history, while all their albums combined have sold over twenty-five million worldwide.

“With an entire generation of fans who've only seen Rucker on CMT rather than MTV, the timing is perfect for his old band to mount a comeback. They proved they were up to the task… the group finally loosened up, and the fun they were having became contagious,” The Arizona Republic shared.

Accompanying them on the road is Edwin McCain, an American actor and guitarist who has been serenading crowds worldwide since his chart-topping ballads “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask For More” hit the US radio. Rock band Collective Soul will also be present on this night. Comprised of brothers Ed and Dean Roland, Johnny Rabb, Will Turpin, and Jesse Triplett, they achieved several feats like winning the Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Song for "December" and being inducted into the legendary Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009.

Located in Pelham, the massive Oak Mountain Amphitheatre is an outdoor concert venue owned by Live Nation and is hailed the biggest in Alabama. It holds over 10,000 guests and features one of the clearest sound systems that reach the farthest points in the lawn! Purchase your tickets to Hootie and The Blowfish live on Friday, July 26th, before others reel them in!
